4 Pillars of Responsibility
Accountability
I take full ownership of what I’ve done—without excuse, denial, or performance. This is how I live in Truth.
Truth
I face what’s real, even when it’s uncomfortable, ugly, or hard to hold. This how I live in Presence.
Presence
I trust myself by living in Presence. That presence allows me to see my actions and reactions clearly. This is how I live in Integrity.
Integrity
I carry the impact of my choices and walk forward in alignment with what I now know. This is how I live in Accountability.
4 Pillars of Avoidance
1. Absence
I disconnect — from the harm, from the person I harmed, from myself.
When I stay absent, I don’t have to face what’s real.
2. Denial
I reject the full truth — I minimize, I deflect, I rewrite the story.
Denial protects my absence. It lets me pretend I’ve done no harm.
3. Shame
I collapse inward — I make it about me, my pain, my guilt.
Shame keeps me stuck. It feels like consequence, but it’s still avoidance.
4. Guilt
I punish myself instead of changing myself.
Guilt becomes a cycle — not a commitment to repair, but a way to stay small.
